The IAP–PHO Certification Programme in Thalassemia Diagnosis and Management is a structured, evidence-based learning initiative designed for pediatricians and healthcare professionals across India.
Built on the latest national guidelines and expert consensus, the programme empowers clinicians with practical skills in screening, diagnosis, transfusion care, chelation, counseling, complication management, and long-term follow-up.

A comprehensive online certification platform designed to help healthcare professionals strengthen their knowledge in Thalassemia diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term patient management.
Access to the training portal and the first module will be provided after successful registration and application approval.
Complete all learning materials within the assigned timeline, attempt the MCQ assessment, and achieve a minimum score of 50%.
Subsequent modules will be unlocked only after successful completion of the previous module assessment with the required passing score.
Interactive online sessions with faculty will be conducted after every two modules (Optional - subject to faculty availability) to address queries, discuss practical challenges, and clarify concepts.
The certification programme follows a continuous cycle of module completion, assessment, faculty interaction, and activation of subsequent modules.
Participants are encouraged to complete modules within the stipulated timelines for smooth progression and active participation in faculty discussions.
